Many don't realize the stepped approach to alarm
Low level is great, however what does it do when it detects low level? This is where this product is outstanding. There's a stepped approach they use. Whereby up to at a certain PPM levels and higher and when that PPM is sustained for XX minutes or increasing the alarm starts. Not only that, if the time (XX minutes) increases the alarm mode changes too.
For example - up to 30 ppm just LED flashing for XX minutes. If it continues to show 30 ppm or higher beyond XX, chirping starts. Then even higher time (say YY), the frequency of chirping increases.
In between if that same PPM, originally 30 increased to (say) 60 it detects the total time alarm started and adjusts the chirping logic accordingly. In other words even though just above XX but the PPM now is 60 instead of chirping twice (let's say) starts chirping 4 times (let's say).
The entire process is dynamic and real-time.
Another thing: Unlike other low level CO sensors this is the only one I found to be UL certified too.

A Great Low Cost Low Level Carbon Monoxide Detector
Because this Carbon Monoxide Detector has a much lower detection level of 10ppm compared to store bought models, it provides earlier detection of potential CO Furnace leaks and other sources in my home like the hot water water heater.

Important Addition
Our home has a propane gas range in the kitchen, and I have recently been reading a lot about the hidden dangers of low-level exposure to CO2. We have a regular carbon monoxide alarm but I understand that these devices are calibrated to detect levels only at serious concentrations that immediately endanger life. Our HVAC tech advised a CO2 monitor would be better at detecting low levels, so we purchased one for each floor in our home. I did research and decided on this model due to its features and the many positive reviews. Shipping was fast and the devices were very easy to set up and install. I feel much better now, knowing I can keep an eye on those devices and protect our household members.

Carbon Monoxide Monitor/Alarm
This CO monitor will alarm at CO levels as low as 10ppm. Typically CO detectors will not alarm below 30ppm. I wanted the added protection of increased sensitivity.

Easy install similar to regular CO alarms
Purchased this sensitive CO alarm as additional safety device to my regular CO alarms. Install and operation is same as cheaper kiddie CO alarms. Cannot tell difference except for model number specified on box. Recommend it for added safety at home to detect lower CO concentration.
