I would recommend this pump
This pump was easy to install and so far has worked like a champ. The sound it generates during its brief operation cycle is no louder than my sump pump which is right next to it (I realize that the sealed waste crock helps versus the open sump crock...but still impressed).
I have only had this installed for about a month, so time will tell but this pump is definitely worth the extra cost over the cheaper ~1/2HP models I was finding at the big box stores.
