- PRODUCT INFO: Soft high temperature blanket, rated to 2300F. Made from ceramic fiber. Comes with instructions.
- USES: Commonly used in oil, gas and wood fire boilers, furnaces, stoves, kilns and forges. Packaged in a small quantity for smaller projects. Can be used a floor blanket on oil fire boiler. Can be held in position with refractory cement or waterglass. Cut easily with knife or sharp scissors.
- DIMENSIONS: 16” x 48” x ½”. Rolled and boxed. For other sizes see Lynn 9452 and 9449.

I would definitely buy this insulation again
During the replacement of a 15 year old Triangle Tube Boiler blower, I noted the insulating lining on the boiler casing/shell had deteriorated badly. I replaced the old insulation with Kaowool Ceramic Fiber Blanket - messy to cut so made all the measurements, then did all the cutting outside of the residence. I highly recommend using gloves and a N95 dust mask while working with insulation. The Kaowool lined the casing perfectly. To adhere the Kaowool to the casing, I used Rutland 500⁰F RTV sealant. - worked great.
