Poorly Designed Lock Lever
This is the most poorly designed lock lever mechanism I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Exposed on the outside of the handle, it OFTEN gets moved by normal use on rain gutters. It can also be moved in the opposite direction, which will cause the jaws to be impossible to CLOSE!!! (!!!) This was very inconvenient and frustrating when I was working on a ladder, installing 200' of gutter covers on my two story house. The only reason I didn't return them is that they are the only ones I could find in this whole town of box stores, and many small hardware stores, and I need to get this, and another house done ASAP. I am thinking of cutting the lock lever off by whatever means necessary. Haven't decided yet. They do fit in the tool belt pouch better when closed / locked. Otherwise, they are sturdy precise, have good leverage, and do the job well.
