Works as advertised
Installation is fairly easy even though they make something simple unnecessarily difficult sounding. The instructions are scattered over the enclosed two sheets, their web site and YouTube.
My pixel 10 pro caused difficulty with the Bluetooth connection due to improperly set permissions. There is no diagnostic to point you in the right direction, so note that "nearby devices" and "location" must be allowed. These may change unexpectedly, so if you're on android and having problems, check these.
The device comes with a complete set of installation hardware.
As far as the device goes, it works great. It lowered my compressors inrush from 133A to 29A. Case closed!

Worked once, then nothing. Fan, no compressor. Fortunately no damage to my irreplaceable R-410 system. You may have better results than I did, maybe not.

A good investment!
This was an easy DIY install. Wiring instructions were easy to follow & numerous helpful YouTube videos helped assure me I could do it. The unit should help our AC compressor last longer. It will be useful when we go to add batteries to our solar panel system. We were so pleased with the unit, we also gifted one to our daughter & her family!

There is a special install depending on the contactor
The Easy Start is awesome! But if you have a two pole contactor it changes the install just a bit. The Easy Start has a built in short cycle feature that must be disabled using a two pole contactor. To disable it you have to power the EasyStart up and use the Bluetooth menu to do it. It wasn't hard to do at all. But you have to be careful as two of the 4 wires aren't connected during this operation.. so tape them off. After you get done programming off the delay, hook it up as the schematic showed.
The first start was 66% lower inrush.. and its still optimizing..

I recently installed #3
This one was on an old R 22 unit to help extend it's life. When it fails the EasyStart can be reused. If you understand the wiring, it's very easy to install.
Figure out where to mount it first, then wire.

Pretty Impressef
I ordered this because I recently installed a whole home generator and wanted less current draw on startup to avoid exceeding the surge limits on the generator. I must say the benefits without consideration of the generator seem very worthwhile. Prior to installation, my units were noisy on startup and caused lights to dim. After installation the unit is extremely quiet and no more dim lights. Do yourself a favor and give your compressor some love with one of these. I have no doubts I just added years of life to my heat pump.

Great product
This is a great product easy to install and works as it said it would. Hope this will help prolong the life of the compressor and it should reduce the cost per year with the easy start up. Drop my amps by almost 60% and I have a two ton unit. As a hvac contractor I would recommend having this installed by a professional tech.
