Works as advertised
Installation is fairly easy even though they make something simple unnecessarily difficult sounding. The instructions are scattered over the enclosed two sheets, their web site and YouTube.
My pixel 10 pro caused difficulty with the Bluetooth connection due to improperly set permissions. There is no diagnostic to point you in the right direction, so note that "nearby devices" and "location" must be allowed. These may change unexpectedly, so if you're on android and having problems, check these.
The device comes with a complete set of installation hardware.
As far as the device goes, it works great. It lowered my compressors inrush from 133A to 29A. Case closed!

DID NOT PRODUCE THE RESULTS I EXPECTED
I have two 1.5 ton A/C compressors and was hoping to allow one of them to run off my 30 amp portable generator along with 2 refrigerators and a few lights during frequent power outages. However, will not be possible since these devices were unable to drop the start up amps below 40, so no go with A/C. BUT ... the A/C compressors will last longer since there is no longer the 60 to 70 amp surge that took place previously. Cannot recommend since no way to predict if they will help..

Works Better Than Expected!
I Installed This On A 6-ton Pool Heater. Reduced The Starting Amps From 120 To 37!! The App Is Nice, Gives Good Info. Hopefully It Lasts As Good As It Works.

Definte buy
I like doing research and reading reviews when it comes to buying items to add on very expensive things. This soft start seemed reputable and reliable and after a solid month, its done its job. I've noticed a significant decrease in sound from startups and the Bluetooth app option does keep tabs on each startup while its on. I don't have to be as close as others have described but the app doesn't read when the a/c compressor is off. The longevity has yet to be determined and I hope I can update in a year of any changes hood or bad. I did install a surge protector at the disconnect for extra insurance.

Worked like a charm.
I have a 4-ton in-ground geothermal system that I wanted to run from a 7.2kW inverter. The run current was well within the inverter's limits, but the starting current was way too much for it. Adding this soft-starter allowed the compressor to easily start without overloading the inverter.

I would buy this product again
Reduced my starting amps from 70 to 19.5. Hopefully this lasts a long time. Its expensive but if it lasts it will be well worth it.

Great Product
Put it on my A/C a week ago, so I cant say to much about it except I have been watching the start amps and it has gone down fro 63 amps to anwhere fro 23.9 to 28.4 amps and the A/C sounds quieter. I believe it is going to be worth the money and the money I paid for my A/C system, I want to make it last as long as possible.

Run your Central air on a portable Generator
Two days after I installed the EasyStart we experienced a 13 hour electrical outage. Perfect time to test how the EasyStart works with my Gen. I have a 9600 peak Firman Generator and a 4 ton HVAC system. The HVAC started with no problem. We had central air during the outage. Would not have worked without the EasyStart. Very happy with my purchase, so I bought another one for my 2nd upstairs unit.
