Works as advertised
Installation is fairly easy even though they make something simple unnecessarily difficult sounding. The instructions are scattered over the enclosed two sheets, their web site and YouTube.
My pixel 10 pro caused difficulty with the Bluetooth connection due to improperly set permissions. There is no diagnostic to point you in the right direction, so note that "nearby devices" and "location" must be allowed. These may change unexpectedly, so if you're on android and having problems, check these.
The device comes with a complete set of installation hardware.
As far as the device goes, it works great. It lowered my compressors inrush from 133A to 29A. Case closed!

I have two 1.5 ton A/C compressors and was hoping to allow one of them to run off my 30 amp portable generator along with 2 refrigerators and a few lights during frequent power outages. However, will not be possible since these devices were unable to drop the start up amps below 40, so no go with A/C. BUT ... the A/C compressors will last longer since there is no longer the 60 to 70 amp surge that took place previously. Cannot recommend since no way to predict if they will help..

These Units Work GREAT!! Greatly reduced Inrush Amps
These Flex Soft Starters are wonderful. Since installing 4 of them, they have greatly reduced the inrush amps and have quieted the startup of my AC units. Especially the ones on the roof of a shop building that used to be startling when they would start.

After receiving the order from Supply house i contacted them b/c it was suppose to come with an "installation kit" and it did not, which i verified this before ordering, they responded that they would get back to me THEY NEVER DID. I have been ordering from Supply House for several years without issue then again this is the 1st time i ever had to contact them for post sales help. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Works great
Works great on my 26 yr old Rheem condenser. Went from 95 amps to 25ish. A few days later the power went out from a storm, my generator had no problem running the A/C. Temps were in the 90's in Ohio. Sucks that you have to be within 30ft to connect with Bluetooth, but not the end of the world. After years of talking about getting one, I'm glad I finally did. Just hope it last's many years.

i would not buy from supplyhouse again
negative number if allowed. The product did not work for my ac unit no matter what the hvac person tried. called to ask to return it and was told i was sol because i opened it an installed it. If I had bought it anywhere else I would have been able to return it.

Great investment. Will save money in the long run.
It definitely works! I am a licensed HVAC contractor. I installed this on my personal heat pump, just to try it out. My LRA dropped from 60 to 14 amps. Compressor starts a lot quieter now too. It's definitely not snake oil.
*Instructions could be better written but all in all it's pretty straight forward.

A good investment!
This was an easy DIY install. Wiring instructions were easy to follow & numerous helpful YouTube videos helped assure me I could do it. The unit should help our AC compressor last longer. It will be useful when we go to add batteries to our solar panel system. We were so pleased with the unit, we also gifted one to our daughter & her family!
