Works as advertised
Installation is fairly easy even though they make something simple unnecessarily difficult sounding. The instructions are scattered over the enclosed two sheets, their web site and YouTube.
My pixel 10 pro caused difficulty with the Bluetooth connection due to improperly set permissions. There is no diagnostic to point you in the right direction, so note that "nearby devices" and "location" must be allowed. These may change unexpectedly, so if you're on android and having problems, check these.
The device comes with a complete set of installation hardware.
As far as the device goes, it works great. It lowered my compressors inrush from 133A to 29A. Case closed!

I recently installed #3
This one was on an old R 22 unit to help extend it's life. When it fails the EasyStart can be reused. If you understand the wiring, it's very easy to install.
Figure out where to mount it first, then wire.

Pretty Impressef
I ordered this because I recently installed a whole home generator and wanted less current draw on startup to avoid exceeding the surge limits on the generator. I must say the benefits without consideration of the generator seem very worthwhile. Prior to installation, my units were noisy on startup and caused lights to dim. After installation the unit is extremely quiet and no more dim lights. Do yourself a favor and give your compressor some love with one of these. I have no doubts I just added years of life to my heat pump.

Great product
This is a great product easy to install and works as it said it would. Hope this will help prolong the life of the compressor and it should reduce the cost per year with the easy start up. Drop my amps by almost 60% and I have a two ton unit. As a hvac contractor I would recommend having this installed by a professional tech.

I would by this projuct again
I installed this on my heat-pump and lowered the inrush current from 103A to about 23A. I had to review the instructions a couple of time before installing because my heat-pump had other components wired in that I had to deal with but once I traced out my wiring and figured it out the install was quick. I love the quick connectors that came with the unit.

Easy To Install - Works Great
My house is all electric - if the power goes out my heat pump is DOA. Installation is quick and easy; only 4 wires. I had some issues with the Bluetooth connection but it turned out to be my own fault - you do not need to pair the connection - just open their App and it pairs and connects for you. (That wasn't explained in their instructions which for the most part are well written and pretty complete.) I reached out to their tech support and got a reply almost immediately on a weekend even though they were closed. The unit works as advertised and I am very pleased.
