Work great and fast in the drill to clean the copper pipe.

This product has limitations. If you use it carefully it makes the job quick and easy. If you don't, it breaks. I use it mostly to hold and turn the pipe, and use emery cloth on the other end to clean the pipe. It is very important (and fairly easy) to keep the pipe very straight as it turns. Never use it with an impact driver; that will break it right away. When you mess up and break it, you can epoxy a couple of suitable washers to the brush part and make it stronger than original.

The idea is good, but you can't use a drill to power this brush. It broke immediately upon the first use. I can still use it by hand, but the plastic can't handle the torque of a drill.

I didn't buy this product, but why wouldn't you just use a standard cleaning brush, cut off the loop on the end, and stick it in your drill?

This broke the first pipe joint I tried to clean, spun the drill shaft right off the plastic brush holder, can not be fixed

All it is is a hex to 1/4" thread adapter drilled into the back of the plastic brush housing pinched by 2 jamb nuts. I bought all three sizes, one which was missing the jamb nut, nice. What happens is the brush snags and then the shaft continues to spin melting the plastic and there you sit. So, basically you have a exterior brush with 1/4" of pinch on a plastic housing. ?!?! Would I recommend this particular design? Probably not. I'm going to put some larger washers in it trying to get more friction, but who knows. When it worked it worked nice, but it ain't quite there yet to give more than 3 stars. SupplyHouse was great!!, must have eaten the shipping because a one time charge came in three shipments. UPS sucked, kept delaying the final shipment but, I guess there was a snow storm. idk
