1" Tubing Cutter

Excellent quality you would expect from a Milwaukee product. But, I was expecting a bit easier effort from Milwaukee compared to the cheap-o (free) cutters that ships along with some tubing shipments. (Minus 1-star) However I'm sure the durability/dependability of the Milwaukee cutters will greatly outshine the free chop-style cutters. After several hundred cuts to Pex and Air-type tubing, the blade remains very sharp and smooth-cutting. And I don't have any reason yet to re-blade it. I happily discovered that they also work excellent for scoring the outside of pipe insulation (1/2-1" ID type) by just letting it at its max-opening and spinning it around the foam then snapping it.

I'd say it performs like I expected an easily cut Pex-A. I used to cut down a couple small pieces of Pex, once that project was finished I use to cut will anchors to modify a hydronic towel warmers mounts. It may be a bit overpriced for what it is, and other cheaper cutters could work as well but I think I will use this tool for a few years at least. The best part is I can easily run down to the box store down the street and get replacement blades when I need them. That will be easier than using some generate cutter that the blades I get down the street may or may not fit.
