40/5 MFD Round Capacitor (370V), 01-0084

I had read online that it's worth a shot in replacing the capacitor first, before spending thousands getting a new A/C put in, and they were right! This part was less than $10, tax and shipping included it came out to under $19. I spent 10 or 15 minutes total taking the Condenser panel off, taking out the old capacitor and putting in the new one, and I have cold air again thank you God!!! If your A/C is blowing warm air, the lines aren't frozen and it doesn't need refrigerant, it is well, well, well worth getting a capacitor that exactly matches the one on your condenser (same exact numbers on the voltage, etc, and same brand also if possible) and replace it prior to scrapping your old unit. I'm safe from thousands and thousands for a new A/C unit for hopefully another summer or more. Great product and pretty fast shipping as well. Only had to wait a few days for it to get here. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE FUSE RELAY OR SHUT THE BREAKER OFF BEFORE CHANGING OUT THE CAPACITOR!
