Plastic Rain Cap

Purchased to be used in conjunction with a Noritz on demand gas heater. The schematic from Noritz for connecting the rain cap is pretty straight forward. The problem is the connection off the top of the bell shaped concentric assembly. I had to grind down a pvc slip slip connection in order to connect the rest of the assembly since the pipe goes from 2" to 3" pvc. The directions do not discuss this in any way. Also, you will need to by the increaser from 2" to 3" per the instruction. Would recommend that before you actually start the project you purchase any additional parts prior to actually starting the project to avoid unnecessary aggravation. Read the manufacturers instructions and check their install schematic first!
