PurCool Green Mini Strips

I've tried the small blue, and the small yellow tablets from the two big box stores, and there is basically no comparison here. I have three properties around town, and once you put one of these strips in the pan, you basically do not have to do any maintenance on the drain line for almost six months. You just have to remember to replace them of course. After you put one into a pan on a system that has lots of sludge and build up inside it, you'll notice it will be completely clear in about two weeks and stay that way for five to six months. I bought a case, because this puts and end to expensive ceiling repairs and upset tenants. When their drain pan backs up, the system shuts off. This used to happen when they need the system the most and I am not around. Great solution. The only negative thing about the product is that to find it, you basically have to order it online or spend a lot of time trying to find a place that carries it. That is another reason to buy 12 at a time.

Decided to try product and believe it will do the job however when checking product after 17 days I discovered it was about 85% use up. Since i have a 3 ton unit I now question the value of the product. I believe they need to check how long the product last and revise the advertising claim.
