Big Letdown: New Motor Dies Fast, Old One Lasted Decades
Was a good fit, but it failed way too soon. The motor it replaced was original equipment from the 1970s and lasted decades. A replacement motor should reasonably last at least 5–10 years. Very disappointed given the cost of the part and the time it takes to do the repair. I can't justify recommending this product if it can't meet even a basic reliability expectation.
