Too expensive so an alternative is
After purchasing one of these found an alternative that gives more sq. inches of filtration at a much lower cost utilizing a Fantech filter box that holds a 10x20 filter and then found a reusable Ubeesize filter frame with 9 refill accordian style Merv 13 filters for the price of one of these. It does require installing the box as a pre-filter into the port for outside air. I also installed a 6x16 canister carbon filter made for greenhouses before this on the outside since we have had smoke from various sources coming through from nearby prescribed burns and construction sites and it is awesome!

Great fit, price seems high for such a small filter
I have not searched deeply for another source, but will next time given the price is more than most furnace filters 3X the size of this little thing. I'm guessing the material isn't the cause for this but rather the annual usage. Otherwise no complaints, perfect fit in the ERV!
