SupplyHouse packaging is out of spec
Per the spec sheets, these fittings are supposed to come in a hermetically sealed package to protect against dust and contamination on the O-ring. If you order less than a "box" quantity (which is currently specified for the 3/8" couplers but not for the 1/4" couplers), SupplyHouse will send them "loose" in violation of the spec. When I emailed SupplyHouse support about improving this, they pretended not to understand the question. When I asked Parker about this, they told me SupplyHouse is not an authorized seller of Zoomlock MAX.
I would suggest documenting this caveat in the product description so that customers seeking a hermetically sealed package know that they need to order a full box.
