Great Product except for one thing
The Flotec FP4022 Shallow Well Jet pump is a great product, except for one thing. The problem is that the thermoplastic housing near the inlet port is very weak and need reinforcing. It is a fine line between tightening the inlet fitting enough to prevent a leak without over tightening it without cracking the housing and ruining the pump. The housing needs reinforced to make this less likely. Next time I will consider re-plumbing the pump-house to use a pump with stainless steel housing, such as the Grundfos JP PS 16 05 154 also sold at SupplyHouse
