Like how the pitch is built into the mounting flange. May not work in all applications but it gives an alternative to the loose plastic wedge used by others

Great long-life, easy on/off frost free tap
I researched the market and chose this valve. Always a fan of ball valves, this tap was a great place to find one with easy, solid turn on/off, no multiple turn cranking, just one-quarter turn, no forceful turning. This valve has dual fitting which can be sweat or 1/2" IPS/MPT. I used trouble free supply attachment by compression seal.
One other great point was supplyhouse.com, which gives me one-day delivery on orders, since I am in zone one. That was fantastic
