Battery life ok but device works well
Device works well but Battery life is 2-3 months for Alkaline AA. Could be better. Using lithium AA will get about 4 months. More cost effective with Alkaline. Also, the battery percentage meter feature doesn't read any less than 100%. Overall, I like the L5 Shutoff valve and find the L1 leak detectors satisfactory. I was considering the Moen Flo but this shutoff valve seems more durable since the body of the valve is not plastic. The actuator is but it has worked well so far without any issues. The First Alert app could use some updates for improved functionality.

Data logging access
Product is great in many respects BUT how does the customer access the continuous data log for both temperature and humidity over time?
This cloud based information would be a real plus to this project even at an additional fee.

L1 Good but…
I ordered 8 L1s. Of the 8, 2 were defective. One L1 just did not work. The second L1 rapidly drained the batteries resulting in dozens of low battery warnings. Supplyhouse promptly replaced the units no questions asked.
All this being said, all units are now working giving me temperature, humidity and battery readings. Setup is simple using the Residio app. I'm expecting these units to run, as advertised, for the next 2 years on the batteries that come with the units.
