Using this oil in my FP VP55 and TruBlu hoses, It can pull down to less than 80 micro in about 1 hour on a 5ton system, dual hoses and dual micron gauges.
Its no better or no worst than the Black Gold oil. Similar to the Appion Oil they sell.
The difference is it advertises that it cleans the pump which I am not sure if it does or doesn't.

I would buy this product again
This is a great product and a fair price compared to the local suppliers and it performs just as good or maybe better.

Quality Oil at an Inexpensive Price Point
I picked up the ProTech oil to do some oil changes on my belt drive vacuum pumps.
Warm them up, drain, power flush, and fill. Seal off the pump, power it on and let it pump down overnight. The oil container states a vapor pressure of 1/10th of a micron, which would be just fine for my end use, needing ~5 microns final vacuum for neon work. My pumps are likely worn, though, as they hang up/bottom out at ~66 microns with this oil @ 92°f pump temperature. Looks like time for me to rebuild my pump!

Flush & Fill on a couple of Belt Drive Vacuum Pumps
Overall, the PROTECH vacuum pump oil is doing exactly what I've asked of it; an inexpensive, quality refined vacuum pump oil and flush fluid for a couple of belt-driven pumps that I'm rehabbing on the cheap.
Sure, I'm probably not the target audience for this product, but it sure is a nice surprise to find something that doesn't break the bank, yet does what is asked of it.
It may not be visible in the online picture of the label, but the last line of specs quotes a vapor pressure of less than 1/10th micron at 140°f.
After an overnight degassing, the oil was doing it's job just fine. The pumps, however, not quite up to task. Neither pump was exhausting oil mist or vapors beyond what was expected (minimal), even up to a pump temperature of 138°f (via thermocouple), and in the case of the surplus pump (new to me, all unknown), the PROTECH oil captured and allowed me to remove a whole bunch of moisture/water, and debris from the crankcase in preparation for the final filling of oil prior to testing.
Bottom line, if you're changing your pump oil out frequently whilst working in a dirty vacuum environment, the PROTECH vacuum pump oil proved itself to be up to the task for not much coin.
