This works with the Richmond model # 5V40-36F
Knowing that Rheem makes Richmond, decided to take a chance on this burner assembly to see if it was the same as our Richmond 5V40-36F "6 year" water heater. After trying to clean the flame sensor and replacing the thermocouple, with no luck, went online to search. Found this unit and it looked the same, so ordered it. Yep - Exactly the same unit. Fixed our water heater and I'm grateful that I found it!! Also I ordered it at 10:30 pm on a Wednesday night and it was at our front door at 4:00 on Friday!

product arrived partially broken from the gas pipe welding had to make one part with the old parts.

burner unit is defective...has a righthand nut on propane line, instead of the standard propane LEFTHAND thread
