A Fine Rod At A Good Price. Threads Are Perfect.
The threads on this SP11309Y Magnesium Anode rod were cut perfectly for a leak-free installation. The rod is dead-on precise in measurements and perfectly straight. Note that the core wire is small and the magnesium generous. The length is common and it will fit many heaters.
Some people mention that the stickers are difficult to remove. Mild heat from hot water, a hair drier or heat gun makes this a 2 minute job. Even sunlight works. Any remaining glue is soluble with 70% isopropyl alcohol. (First aid alcohol)
As usual, Supply House shipped instantly and the product was packed for safe transport.

I would not buy again
The product was shipped with a very sticky label on it. I will be returning as I cannot get all of the paper and adhesive off. Can't have paper and adhesive chemicals floating around in my water heater tank.
The product itself would be absolutely fine if proper labeling was used.

The anode rod came super quick. The shorter size worked great since I didn't have enough clearance for a full sized rod. I would have given it 5 stars except they put a label sticker on it that is imposible to remove.
