Thermocouple work after some time.
I installed the pilot assembly and it didn't work. The pilot stays lit after holding it for 2 or 3 minutes but the thermocouple wasn't working. I thought it was defective. The next day I tried to start it again and it worked the first time. It has been 3 weeks since I installed it and i didn't have a problem since then.

I purchased this product and even though it said it was the replacement for my old part the wire for the spark and thermopile was too short. customer had been without hot water for two days so i had to do a splice with the wire for the old part took me an extra 1.5 hours to complete the job.

I actually never got to use it because I ended up buying another water heater so I guess it's a spare replacement part but i cay say that it got here fast and it looks like it probably would have worked.
