Most Liked Positive Review

Good Product and Easy to work with.

Pricing is higher that some on the internet...may want to work on pricing. Good product and SupplyHouse.com is an awesome company to deal with!!
VS

Most Liked Negative Review

No

The Bluefin PEX is very stiff and will not relax from being coiled. That becomes an issue between un-support horizontal spans where you want to maintain a slope to be able to drain the line completely. It might be acceptable in other applications, but not for this one. I am sending it back. The PEX-A Uponor (Wirsbo) is far easier to work with and that is what we will be using from this point on.

Great Product

I use this while doing repairs on RVs. Only thing I don't like is that it does not like to straighten out when cold. Leave it in the sun for a bit and it is much easier to work with.

This size is a terrible, terrible product

The 1" pex b is incredibly stiff and not appropriately thermoplastic. It retains the memory of the coil even after being straightened and eventually curls again. Even after applying heat with a heat gun. Very disappointed.

SharkBite fittings are compatible with PEX tubing. Please refer to the following for official documentation from the manufacturer: http://www.cashacme.com/_images/pdf_downloads/products/sharkbite/SB_ASSE1061.pdf

Expansion fittings are not compatible with Rifeng tubing. They only work with PEX-A tubing.

We would recommend that you use SharkBite fittings to do this.

Depends on the temp. of the water being circulated. Pex pipe, which is very easy to use, can withstand up to 160 degrees F. You'll need a special tool to crimp the fittings, but you can rent or borrow one from your hardware store. You could also consider "Shark Bite" fittings and run soft copper pipe to the new location, and not need soldering. Contact your Hardware store (not Big Box store) for information on these fairly new fittings.

Q: I am going to replace my radiator heater pipes that tee from a 2" black pipe running down the center of the crawlspace under my house. Some are 3/4" some are 1". Can I use pex? I realize I would need the proper connectors, that's no problem. I just need to know if pex would be for this application.
