Yes, this is the substituted part.
Part 780-845 is the functional replacement for the Robertshaw SP745. If the spark isn't being sensed, there may be a wiring issue.

Yes, 780-845 is the listed replacement for SP745.
Yes it absolutely does. I replaced my Robertshaw Sp 745 with this unit and it worked perfect. Just pay close attention when you attach those leads. The IGN is attached on top of the new unit and one of your wires from the old unit no longer needs to be hooked up. I did mine side by side and had no trouble. Take a picture of how it was originaly wired for reference. If you dont get a spark you did it wrong. Make sure gas and elec is off during install. Happy heating!!! Oh yea it cost less than the original, WOW
According to the manufacturer, 780-501 ( http://www.pexsupply.com/Robertshaw-780-501-Direct-Spark-Ignition-Control-w-34-second-prepurge ) is the replacement for DS-845 PR-3-7.
The replacements for the SP735L ignitor are 780-002 or 780-845.
The replacement for that unit is 780-715.
According to the manufacturer, 780-501, 780-502, 780-503, and 780-504 are the replacements for the DS845. The one you need depends on the entire model number (i.e. what comes after 'DS845'). You may want to check with Heatilator on whether or not this was an OEM part.
Yes, it will.
