Unfortunately, haven't heard back from our customer.

This thermostat is being used with electric Infrared Heaters. Our customer has not gotten back to us about the performance or how they like it. As far as us (NPE), we are very satisfied with Supply House. Quick shipments, courteous staff, excellent return service. Will continue to order from them.

I would not buy this stat again

Supply House is a great HVAC Mail order for us HVAC professionals. I order many various parts including many t-stats of all types. This is my first 801 Htg only line voltage T-stat. Ordered up 4 to try out on a customers fan heating coil ventilators. 1st stat out of the box was 15f off, 2nd was 8f degrees off, 3rd was 10f off, 4th was 6f off. Spec sheet shows accuracy + or - 2f. Thats a lot. No calibration screw or reposition setpoint dial to match room temp. At 68f setpoint/ room at 68f also, turning knob + or - req 5f degrees before a click is heard. room overheats or underheats. Robertshaw needs to redesign this stat its not usable where human comfort must be controlled to 1f max. I took the worst one back to office and monitored on bench with accurate electronic thermometers. I returned one and had a replacement sent, same problem just slightly less out of cal. 8f . Will need to go back to Penn-Johnson or Honeywell. Very disappointed .

I would buy this product again and that's what I did!

I ended up purchasing two SPST Thermostats after using the first one to test out a retrofit on an old Berko recessed forced air wall heater (1995 vintage). Retrofit worked well and performed as I expected so I purchased the second one with identical results. I'm happy with the performance of the Robertshaw Thermostats.

Worked as Advertised

Retrofitted to a recessed Line Voltage residential wall heater and seems to control well. Price is right for a bimetal thermostat.

Not impressed

The knob that sets the temperature is not calibrated properly. To maintain a temperature of 70 the dial has to be set at 55. Being the knob seems to have a cam on it you can't reposition it. The lack of anything else at this point it works but I'm not impressed. Probably when assembled they used the cooling stat control knob instead of the one for heat.

Simple....easy....works as needed

It replaced an old mercury switch model going to a heater to a control unit. Easy to install and works perfectly.
