The SharkBite ball valve with drain/vent and mounting bracket is designed to be fully mountable for stability and allows water to be drained for the lines through the drain/vent if desired. It is a high quality forged brass ball valve with SharkBite connections. The SharkBite connections allow the user to connect the ball valves to copper, CPVC and PEX and PE-RT tubing in seconds with relative ease.

Great lead free plumbing product
Works with copper, PVC, and PEX. Dunno about stainless. Good drain for feeds that run outdoors.

I would buy this item again
Installing as water shut off for individual condo units, easy install, drop ears make it easy to anchor valve to the wall.
My only con is the unit is extremely difficult to remove should there be a reason to do so, even using the removal clip.
