Worth every penny in time saved

This is the easiest and quickest way to connect a water heater! I hope it lasts as long as the water heater. I worry about flexible connections...

Eventually produces BLACK carbon flakes

Stainless steel braided hoses that have the black rubber lining tend to break down when exposed to chlorinated water over a period of time, and this is especially evident when connected to the hot water side of the homeowners system. - City of Kerrville Water Department TX

Very Convenient, Worked Well

I had to replace the dip tube in my hot water heater. I used this product to connect the cold water pipe to the heater afterwards. Saved lots of time, money, effort because I did not have to rework the old PEX piping.

Would buy again

Used to hook up a few unit ventilators in a tight spot . wouldn't consider it a permanent fix but building is being demolished in the spring so good for one season in my opinion. No leaks!

One side of the connector is designed to connect to the 3/4" standard connection on a water heater, while the other side connects to 3/4" PEX, copper, or CPVC using a SharkBite connection.

Was this review helpful to you?
-

Yes.

Was this review helpful to you?

One end goes to the water heater connection, the other end like you stated goes over a ¾ pipe, (cvpc, pex, or copper).

Was this review helpful to you?
-

Yes, It just slips over the cut off end of a 3/4" copper pipe, you can't get any easier. I use these any time I put in a new hot water heater. Scott Sandquist
