When installing you must be careful that the pipe isn't inserted to far on the side with no stop or the tee portion will be blocked and water flow will be greatly reduced.

needed to T in some pex from a new tankless water heater to an existing copper line. this made it quick and easy. no solder, no leaks.

I am not a professional plumber...and don't want to be one. :) For applications where it is difficult to use a traditional sweat fitting these fittings will really save your butt! I needed to tee into an existing cold water supply line and this allowed me to do it in about 15 minutes. I don't think I would have been able to do it without this fitting (or I would have had to call in a professional plumber). The price at SupplyHouse was great and they had what I needed (unlike both of the local "big box" home centers).

I Followed how to intall it video, was a snap, no sweating pipes, no leaks whatsoever.

The Sharkbite Slip Tee allowed me to easily cut into an existing copper pipe to add a tee for a new pipe to a new ice maker supply I was installing. Worked simply with no need to fuss with soldering. No leaks. Easy-breezy.
