Yes, the design of the Sharkbite ... allows unlimited reuse after removal from tubing. It is wise to look at the seal (o-ring) and the sharkbite (teeth) locking clips ... for any visible damage. But, typically .... the fitting may be used over and over again..!!! (if removed properly)
Yes, with the same precautions and if not physically damaged.
Yes you can. No issue. I've taken them apart to test this. Joel. Sent from my iPhone
Hi Samuel- The fittings can definitely be re-used on new/re-cut Pex. It's a big advantage to me. Good luck, Peter G.
Yes, absolutely
Yes, done it many times.
Yes. Make sure the inner sleeve is in tact and that you've de-burred the tubiiing to be inserted. You shoulod be able to re-use the fittings over and over again.
The manufacturer is not offering the 5/8" disconnect clip or tongs so we are unable to list it.
Hi, I found that if you do not have the special removal tool that an open end wrench that just fits over the tubing, in your case it's probably a 3/4" will do the job just fine. In my case the Sharkbite fitting was 3/4" & I used a 7/8" open end wrench and it worked to perfection. Just slide it over the pipe, press it against the plastic ring that protrudes on the end of the connector & easily pull apart the connector from the pipe...
