2" SharkBite Slip Tee

Note: A SBTL54 Insert is required for each connection to PEX. Therefore, If all three ends of this tee will be connecting to PEX, (3) SBTL54 Inserts are required, one for each end. This insert is sold separately.

Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406A).

The SharkBite Large Diameter Slip Tee is the perfect way to add a line into your existing plumbing system. The slip feature allows you to cut up to 2 inches of rigid Copper, CPVC, and HDPE pipe and connect them back together using the tee to add the line to your system. Simply insert the slip coupling onto the pipe after you’ve cut out a section and use the Demount Clip to slide the fitting back to the other end of pipe which completes the connection. This push-to-connect fitting is designed for potable water and radiant heating (including underground or behind-the-wall) applications with no access panels required.
