Features:
- 555-23S series affixes 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" nominal tube (copper or plastic) and 1/2" Sch. 40 IPS pipe (steel or plastic)
- Compatible with copper, PEX and CPVC
- Max working temperature: 160F
- Available with shorter nail for radiant heat, nail-up applications. 1-5/8" nail won't penetrate 3/4" floors
- Safety working load: 21 lbs.

Worked well
I found using a screw gun much easier and quicker than using a hammer, especially when working in spaces between old floor joists that are dirty from years of dirt and dust exposure. One annoyance is that the clamps have a tendency to spin while driving the screws.

Great for 1/2". Can't recommend for 3/4"
We love using the screw in tubing clamps. Much faster for us than nail ins... on 1/2" pipe. On 3/4", the clamp spins around the pipe when you push the bit into the screw causing the screw to go in crooked. It is possible to make it work well on 3/4", but not quickly and easily. I'd gladly recommend these to anyone who needs to support 1/2" pipe though.
