Great project bad instructions
The quality of the product was excellent but the instructions were not correct and missing information. The first thing is you have to cut out 2" not 1" out of your copper pipe to slide it on. Another thing is put the larger end of the slip tee on the incoming water direction, it did not have a water direction arrow on it. Also, remove the plastic stiffener if doing a copper pipe install. The package also did not tell you the insertion depth of the fitting, it is smart to mark how far to insert it to get the maximum bite.

Great easy way to add a valve
Used this valve to add a waterline for a furnace mounted humidifier. Followed the directions included in the package and installed in minutes in my copper water line. It was quick and easy to install and did not leak. Includes the plastic release tool to get it adjusted and installed just right.
