Description
–
Sioux Chief 696 Series OxBox drain box allows for mounting with drainage from bottom, mounted on stud or between stud through various integral features: four nail tabs are integrally into top track of box and the 696-BC (box clip) is available separately. Drain box shall have a 5/8" integral test nipple on knockout. Drain connection shall be 2" (DWV).

This single ox washing machine drain box was just what I was looking for.My water lines are not piped into the box so there for I would have paid for water valves I wasn't going to use.

Needed two, bought 4
Using them while roughing in a Mother-In-Law apartment above the garage for all-new mini-split condensate drains instead of having the contractor try to wrestle drain tubes tied to the line sets and trying to maintain pitch to the outside on some of the longer runs. A little extra cost for me makes the job a little easier for them and less risk of leaks too. These are reasonably priced to go with that brand's washer drain setup, so got some spare in case a similar need in the future.

Worked as it should
I had to replace this side of my washing machine box due to some modifications of the drain line down stream from the OX Box. The replacement box did the job. Note I had to cut off some flanges to make it fit the hole with existing wall board.

You need to buy the trim ring as well. This box does not include it.
