We had a hole in the basement floor, and this grate fit perfectly. It's high-quality and arrived within a few days. Now we won't have rats coming up from the depths.

This worked great to replace an old rustry, cracked grate on my basement floor drain - it was a operfect fit. The holes can be difficult to grab with your fingers, so I did attach a small wire between two holes on one end, to make it easier to lift the grate when I want to inspect the water level underneath.

Bought this for a floor drain in a light traffic area of our trash and recycling room. Fits perfectly. Seems like it will be heavy duty enough for the purpose.
