Not a great product
Not many options to getting air into the new sewer lines. I would never use this to plug a pipe normally as it really sucks. I basically destroyed the threads and nut trying to tighten it enough to keep it from leaking and even after all that it still technically failed the inspection test. The leak was extremely small, lost about a 1/4 PSI and I showed him the problem I was having with this fitting holding air by using soapy water. Thankfully he passed it but it shouldn't of passed for most inspectors.
I bought a set of different sizes and threw them all away. I put together PVC piping to adapt to a Schrader valve for my testing rig now. These are simply not worth the hassle and frustration no matter how cheap they are.

Didn't last oneday
The connection from the fill valve to the body of the test plug leaked on the second test. Not the best quality.
