I would allow about an inch for the non-hinged end caps. They overlap onto the baseboard and if your pipes don't extend beyond the baseboard itself, the end caps could add as little as ¼ inch to the length.
They add about 1/16 of an inch, because they hug the edge of the baseboard heater. However, there is a little leeway, so if you have a small gap between the moulding and the baseboard heater you can move the cap so it fills the space. Hope this helps. Sent from my iPad
It depends on how much overlap you have. They are 2 inches wide so the can add nothing if the are against the baseboard cover plates to 1 1/2 incges if you overlap by just 1/2 inch
This end cap is designed for use with Fine/Line 30 baseboards. You would need a different cap for the Fine/Line 15, Base/Line 2000, etc.
