Clean HVAC coils the fast way. The CoilJet® from SpeedClean is a complete portable AC coil cleaning system. It carries all the water and coil cleaner you need to clean up to five, 5 Ton units with 125 psi pressure. It is specifically designed for portable condenser HVAC coil cleaning. It replaces the too powerful pressure washer – and the not powerful enough pump sprayer – to quickly clean coils without damage to sensitive fins, even microchannel coils!
The system cleans virtually any single pass HVAC coil. It produces 125 psi of coil washing power at about .6 gallons per minute. A water flow and pressure that cleans quickly, but won’t overwhelm condensate lines on indoor units. This means you don’t have to pull evaporator coils out to clean the coils or use acidic and caustic “self-rising” sprays. Plus the integrated water and chemical tanks eliminate the need to drag hundreds of feet of hose to clean rooftop or remote units.
The rechargeable battery supply lasts up to 12 tanks on one charge and optional accessory wands allow for cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils from the back of units without removal of the top grate and fan blade. For best results add water and SpeedyFoam®, an alkaline, acid free, non-caustic biodegradable foaming coil cleaner that delivers penetrating foaming action. Needs improvement
We purchased this a month and a half ago and have used it to clean 20 heat pump indoor units.
Today, the chemical mix valve broke, so it only sprays water.
Other concerns that we have, that could easily be fixed in a product redesign:
- The straight nozzle (jet) provided with the unit is too powerful and bends the fins of the heat exchanger. After the initial use, we have only used the nozzle with the 15 degree spread.
- The battery doesn't last long enough, and needs a gauge to show the remaining charge. It died partway through a cleaning and then had to charge for hours before we could finish the job. A battery indicator light (like DeWalt or Milwaukee tools) would be a huge improvement.
- The battery compartment door pops open any time it bumps into something. This also raises concerns about water getting into the battery compartment. Should this be watertight?
- The hose connecting the sprayer is too short. It doesn't reach indoor units that are mounted 10-12' high. Yes, I agree that indoor units shouldn't be mounted that high, but it was the circumstances we were presented with.
- It is heavy and awkward to carry. Maybe a Li-Ion battery could make it lighter?
- In some instances, the sprayer continues after the trigger has been released.
This seems like an essential tool for cleaning heat pumps. However, the manufacturer needs to make some improvements for it to function in the field.

Do NOT Waste Your Money.
I Bought This Thing Last Year And It Failed Within The First 3 Uses. Called Customer Support And They Were Such A Pain To Work With I Said Forget It. Its Been Sitting Broken For The Last 10 Months.

Jet coil sprayer
Works very well. Not so great for cleaning the inside of a mini split coil. Pressure is really way to strong for inside a home or office. But over all works amazing.

Bottom plastic broke
Overall I like the sprayer's portability and performance. However, Coiljet needs to consider a few improvements. Firstly, offer it with battery adapters so owners can use their existing battery platform (e.g., Milwaukee, Dewalt, etc.) to power the unit. It's not hard to do. Secondly, the plastic bottom cover (underneath) needs improvement. For example, after using it twice and then it sitting for a couple months, pieces from one of the corners just fell off as I removed if from a shelf in the garage. I've never been harsh with it, slammed it down or dropped it. Now, the bottom corner is open/exposed and the unit rocks on flat ground (see pictures). I would expect a more robust bottom cover than this. The unit holds a lot of water plus cleaning solution, so it's quite heavy when loaded. Yet all this weight gets transferred to these four plastic, convex dimples formed into a thin, plastic cover. It seems inevitable these corners will break in time because of thin plastic and/or inherent design. Conclusively, while I recommend the product, it could and should be improved.
