The Sporlan Type M thermostatic expansion valves have a cast bronze body, flange connections, and inlet strainer. They are available with adjustable superheat, long lasting replaceable power element and accessible internal parts. Each valve is factory tested to ensure positive leak-free performance. This valve type provides capacities greater than the Type H, and it is designed for both air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Flanges for the Type M valve are interchangeable with the Type V.
