1-1/2" Foamboard Staples (Box of 300)

The tape that hold these staples together is awful!! Most of the packs fell apart when pulled out of the box. The ones that did stay together had pieces from other packs stuck to the tape, making a cumbersome, time consuming and infuriating task in trying to load these onto the stapler. Worthless product!!!

I would buy this again. Better than Malco. I tried both on the same job. Harder to load on Malco stapler, but that's worth it because they don't jam as much as Malco staples on Malco stapler. It's harder to clear a jammed Malco staple than it is to load with Stapex staples on Malco stapler.

These staples came and were all broken apart in a box and luckily we have enough from a local supply house to complete our job on time for the concrete the next day.

DO NOT use these in your Malco stapler only get Malco brand staples. Packaging is crap, staples held together buy some poor tape and as soon as you try to remove from box the staples all fall apart and then you are putting them on the staple individually. Once loaded these crap staples jam about every 3rd time. You end up wasting about a third of the staples. If you value your time at all, stay far away from the Stapex brand staples. They will cost you time and money. Very disappointed especially since I was told by SupplyHouse that these work in the Malco stapler. Wish I could have rated these a NO star!

Less expensive than name brand but work well and did the job with little waste.

The sleeves of staples all came apart while picking them up out of the box! Cheap non sticky tape. I had to put new masking tape on every single sleeve to use them.

These staples are loose with only a piece tape holding then together, which created a mess when trying to load and numerous jams. These were bought as extras to complete my project as already had some of the Malco staples. Malco staples come with small plastic connector strip that keeps bunch staples together and is sheered off once push handle. Had basically no jams or misfires with the Malco staples. Would not buy these again, but was able to get job done. Further these staples only had one barb as compared to the Malco that had 2. Not described well, thought I was buying the same staples as the Malco 2-1/2" staple.

These staples hold as good as the Malco (more expensive) but I would not recommend them for use below 50-60* temperature range. The staples are more brittle and break in the stapler. Additionally, the strips are held together with a piece of tape. In colder weather the tape comes off and you are left with a box full of individual staples. Which of course is a giant pain to deal with.
