Compressor Overload, 1/4-1 HP (27-31 LRA)

I bought this overload for an LG compressor that we could not find parts for. It worked Great and did the saved the job.

We run our dehumidifiers hard, continually through the spring/summer every year to keep the moisture in check in our basement. Generally I can get 5 to 10 years out of each. Being a hoarder, I could not bring myself to getting rid of them as they've failed. So I have three of them, just sitting, inoperable. Last week I decided I would try to fix them. Common parts are cheap, Youtube has tons of DIY videos. As I gained confidence, I opened up the first dead dehumidifier and I was able to trace the problem to the overload relay, which had blown and prevented the condenser from running. I ordered this particular relay because it provides both wire leads off the terminals, making it easy to install with the short wires I'm working with. I ordered late on Thursday, received it Saturday afternoon, and 15 minutes later the dehumidifier was put back together and running fine. Full bucket of water waiting for me the next morning.
