A good alternative to buying a completely new pump.
When my mom's pump failed after 20 years of service, someone gave us a slightly newer motor that also had a failed cartridge. I was able to mount its motor housing onto my mom's old cast iron housing, and with a purchased new cartridge, mom's water garden soon was circulating again. I was worried that all the different parts might not fit, but the new combination has been working continuously for weeks now. Buying the replacement cartridge was less than half the price of a full new pump!

Great value and product
I'm a mechanical contractor in Chicago. Needed a Taco cartridge. Shopped my suppliers and only one had the cartridge. Searched on line and found Pex supply.
