Would not recommend
Bought the damper to eliminate rattling of a hood vent damper.
First, the product will not slide into a 6" diameter duct. Had to split the duct, insert the damper, then install screw clamps to hold the pipe together.
Second, with any significant wind, greater than 10MPH, the damper does not operate as advertised,as the hood damper continues to rattle.

Great damper
These are extremely quiet compared to flapping metal backdraft dampers. They were easy to install and seal better than expected. The only downside is the length for tight spaces.
