Using just the existing 2 wires from any living space, the Invita easily connects to an HVAC Interface Module in the mechanical room. It works with most types of heating and cooling systems, including conventional, heat pump, and dual fuel, and offers built-in fan, relative humidity, and ventilation control. The Watts(R) Home mobile app provides real-time remote monitoring, setting adjustments, and notifications if issues arise with the HVAC system. The thermostat does the bare minimum well. For everything else, such as remote connectivity, the Watts app, the accuracy of outdoor weather and the integration with other home automation the thermostat is horrible. It is clumsy, disconnects from the internet all the time, and you're forced to use their hobby Bob app. The features, standard to other thermostats in the same price range are lacklustre. If you need a 2-wire solution I would purchase the Honeywell T10 instead with IEM.

Great thermostat!!!
These thermostats are great! They have every feature you would want or need in a thermostat. Our customers really like the thermostat module, and they have been trouble-free so far. Tech- support is pretty accessible and knows their stuff!

I would not recommend this product.
NOTE: This review pertains only to the Invita (Tekmar) 564 thermostat and does not in any way reflect the services offered by Supply House.
I recently had a a new Trane heat pump and furnace installed. As part of the deal,
the installer replaced my Ecobee3 lite thermostat with a Tekmar 564. While, as
others claim, the touchscreen interface is intuitive, that was about the only
positive feature of the Tekmar 564.
The installers immediately experienced wi-fi connectivity issues even after re-booting the router. There were other wi-fi devices in the house which had no such issues. Eventually the Tekmar established connectivity but failed to update its software. The Tekmar 564 dropped connectivity numerous times over the next few days, and on two different occasions dropped connectivity three times in one day. What's the point of having a wi-fi thermostat that won't stay connected ? The Ecobee thermostat had only lost it's connection once in the previous year.
Worse still, Tekmar's support lines were constantly busy. You had to leave
a message, but they never returned the calls.
I finally got fed up and had the Ecobee3 lite re-installed, and we've had no problems since. It's bad enough the Tekmar didn't function as designed, but because there is no customer support I can't rate this thermostat higher than a '1'.

We have discovered that some Internet Service Providers have a “feature” called band steering. When this is enabled, it tries to allocate majority of your data over to the 5Ghz band, leaving devices on the 2.4Ghz connecting / disconnecting on a repeated basis. To mitigate this, we have asked homeowners / contractors to disable the band steering in their router setting(s). Occasionally we encounter lower than favourable Wi-Fi signal strengths. Again, we do apologize for this experience and our team members do their best to call everyone back, but we do occasionally come across full voicemail systems which prevents us from leaving a response. In future, if given the opportunity to assist you with connecting your Invita, we would like to get your thermostat connected and remain connected. Drops connection, poor support
Installed, drops internet connection. Can't even register it. Throws error code on relay module. Should have kept my T87. I am not some home owner. Expected a lot better from tekmar.

Sometimes doing a quick test – such as using a hotspot can help determine if there is a signal strength or router issue. If testing using the hotspot and the thermostat is functional and you’re able to register the device, it could be just a couple adjustments in your router to create a stable and permanent connection. Corrects the 2 wire problem
I use the thermostat in a vacation home heat only was easy to hook up must you might need additional 24 V power supply for wiring station depending upon your installation then just a mater of configuring jumpers on wiring station
Turn on power and set up WiFi register set up App set for conventional heat and if you want to use schedule select yes or no
