The Outdoor Sensor 070 is designed to provide accurate sensing of the outdoor temperature for display and control operation. Controls that operate based on Outdoor Temperature Reset use this product to provide outdoor reset operation. Many controls and thermostats can connect to the 070 to display the outdoor temperature on their LCD screens.

OEM Replacement after six years
The original sensor lasted six years, much better than the indoor (boiler) universal sensor from Tekmar that fails every 1-2 years.

tekmar outdoor temp sensor
Sensor I received seemed to work perfect until temperature dropped near 0 degrees F. Around this temperature or below I experienced a 6 to 8 degree temperature reading warmer than the actual temperature . That was confirmed with another sensor mounted inches away and weather report. Supply House sent me another asap in exchange for the defective one. The new one working well but still waiting for a subzero day to see how it performs. If it performs accurately I would raise my rating to 5 stars and then would rrecommend to others.
