It comes with a propane conversion orifice necessary for converting to propane. No additional kit is necessary.
At a temperature rise of 70 deg. F over the incoming water temperature the unit is capable of producing 2.5 GPM of heated domestic water.
The CC 105 will produce 2.5 GPM for domestic use at a 70° ▲T or (Temperature Rise: the difference between the incoming water temperature and desired hot water temperature )
According to the installation instructions, input and output ratings are shown for sea level applications. The CHALLENGER automatically derates the input at approximately 2% for every 1,000 Ft. of altitude. No alterations to the appliance or burner system are required.
It's not. The Challenger is a direct vent boiler that must bring intake combustion air from outdoors. As a condensing boiler, it cannot be vented through a chimney.
