I'm a HVAC service technician and I constantly have to perform courtesy gas leak searches per company policy. The UEI Combustable Gas Leak Detector is reliable , easy to use, and very convenient. I love the bright light at the end of the gooseneck !

Product works great...Read Manual for best results
It's a great tool for the price. One senior technician said it is important to read the manual to get the best in class use out of it, meaning to help pinpoint the source of the leak.

Works great but has a little warning curve
A solid product but make sure you practice with it. It's genuinely as sensitive as it says, and you have to dial in the sensitivity to account for background noise. For a minute I thought my house was going to blow up then I realized it was picking up the eggs I had for lunch.
Battery life on the 9V could be better (good for about a couple hours of continuous use)

Accurate. Gives peace of mind.
The detector confirmed my suspicions of a gas leak coming from inside my stove, that apparently only I could smell. I also used it on my mother's gas line , where it also gave a positive reading.Your able to adjust the sensitivity, has ease of use. Highly recommended.
