I would buy this product if installing new and not a replace

It would be great in New installations but will require much piping changes as a replacement.

Good configuration for ease of maintenance

I like that the base part of the unit mounts in the condensate line and the housing can be removed and rebuilt or replaced without disturbing the piping.

Supplyhouse.com Never Let's me Down

Whenever I have used Supplyhouse.com, I never have stress thinking that the items won't be delivered on time. The two times I used them were at times when I needed the material by a certain date, or would have had to suffer the repercussions. Gladly, I must say, I never had to live through any repercussions.

Fit and function fine!

Product arrived as promised and replaced an old and obsolete steamtrap. Pricing seemed good too.

Q: Can an F & T trap elevate condensate? If so what is the maximum height?

No. An F&T steam trap keeps steam in the unit or system and allows condensate to be released with the least amount of steam escaping- "trapping" the steam. If the elevation of the condensate piping is a problem, a steam trap could make that issue worse. Steam is piped to the top of the trap and condesate is piped to the bottom. Lowering the outlet about 3 IN. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

The ones we purchased from you did elevate but only maybe a foot at max. It would be best to contact watts on the maximum height.

Q: What pressure can I test the steam trap at.
