the price is too High most of the o-ring can be buy at local hardware store for cheap price and the other piece come with is hardly ever broken even if they broke it's very hard to replace those in the old unit. plus the 2" LF25AUB water pressure regulator have very high chance on bad workmanship and quality control it's only last about maybe 2 yrs or less i have replace 3 from past 6 year with the same problem with the material in the middle hole deteriorate a little.

This is an easy rebuild, and saves a bundle of $$. The kit is in the $70 range, a new pressure regular is in the $600 range from my plumber, about half that from SupplyHouse. There is one problem, which is why I didn't give it a higher rating. There is a seat that comes out of the body with an six-point 1 1/8" socket. The problem is that every socket I have found that is big enough to fit the seat is too large to fit through the opening which must be used to reach the seat. I tried hard to find a socket that would work, and finally I called Watts for help. The guy I spoke with told me, "Yea, that's a problem. I couldn't find one that fit either. What I did was take a 1 1/8" socket and grind down the sides until it would fit." (This comment applies only to the 2" model, I don't know about the other sizes.) At the price Watts is charging for it's rebuild kit (it just a few "O" rings, a rubber diaphragm, and a new seat), it seems to me that Watts could throw in a socket to replace the seat.
