The Wayne CDU1000 1hp pump is a "super bailer"!!
I am using the pump as in my basement sump hole. The height I need the pump to make is higher than, maybe, what is normal-but the CDU1000 is making it look easy. It is hands-down better than the 3/4hp version.

Purchased this as a back-up for current Wayne sump pump
We have an identical Wayne sump pump installed now and since it is hitting its 5 year mark thought it would be wise to purchase a back-up in case it fails. This pump runs like a charm and seems to handle a lot of water seamlessly. Best sump pump we have purchased.

Strong running pump!
This pump is currently operating with a 20' head and is keeping up with about 35gpm inflow into the basement. After a recent torrential downpour the pump easily handled the extra flow! It's only been running for a few weeks now, time will reveal the pumps longevity! Very happy with the price!

Pump Failed on the 2nd day - Basement got water damaged
I bought this pump to replace a failing sump pump, on the 2nd day of use it seized. The only way I knew this happend was my contractor went over to check and make sure things were running right. I had 2 inches of water in a newly finished basement, I ended up getting a new sump pump and had almost $8K in damages and it could of been worse.
