Yes, as the other reviewer says, this sensor isn't like the old one as the one pictured. It seems a better design and must be a better replacement from the original one that goes bad over time. Installed in seconds and works great. Much better price here than what others are charging and very fast shipping. This company seems to be very good and well stocked.

I thought I had a bad temperature sensor, so I bought this as a replacement. It turns out the problem was something different, but I liked this sensor better than the existing one so I kept it. What I received is different than what is in the picture, though. I beleive there are two manufacturers that make temperature sensors for Weil Mclain boilers (at least for my Gold GV series 3). The one I had is like the picture. The one I got is red and grey. But the one I got is better made than the one I had. The wires are more robust. Moreover, I saw the red/grey one on another site for $50. I feel like I got a bargain. The bottom line is don't be surprised if you get something different, but it works just as well--maybe better.
