If a voltage spike or static discharge blanks out the display or causes erratic thermostat operation you can reset the thermostat by pressing the up and down buttons and the TIME button at the same time. This also resets the factory defaults. If the thermostat has power, has been reset and still does not function correctly contact your heating/cooling service person.
W904 jumper is to change the display from Fahrenheit to Celsius or vise versa. To change the display to Celsius then simply cut the w904 jumper wire using a wire cutter. To change the display to Fahrenheit, then re-join the w904 jumper wires (if the wires are already cut) and for better result, you can solder the joint. After this, you may have to reset the thermostat by removing and placing back the batteries. Vilpita
